1. OPENING AN ACCOUNT
Congratulations! You have successfully downloaded the YEAY App. Now it’s time to start selling! The rst thing you need to do is set up your account and select a unique user- name for your sales channel. We recommend that you use the name of your brand or store so that customers can nd you easily.
Next, assign an email address for your account. This is where you’ll receive all the note cations regarding your sales transactions, so make sure it’s an email address that you check regularly! If you are the owner of a large shop with multiple email accounts, we recommend that you use your sales email. That way your sales team can easily manage your incoming orders.
Make sure you create a secure password. We recommend that you choose a password with at least one numerical and special character. Once you’ve registered, you can start exploring the app and other seller’s channels to get some inspiration!
2. CUSTOMIZE YOUR PROFILE
Before you can start uploading videos, you need to ll out your “Sellers Profile”. You will have to include a shipping address and your PayPal email. You can access your Seller Profile by pressing the circle in the bottom right-hand corner.
3. UPLOADING YOUR FIRST YEAY VIDEO
Once your Seller’s Profile is complete, you can start uploading your sales videos! Just press the + sign in the middle of the bottom navigation bar.
Choose between uploading an existing video from your phone, or shooting a new video! You can make your sales video as creative as you like, but make sure to shoot the video in portrait mode, and make sure it doesn’t exceed 60 seconds. Also, make sure you place the featured product in the foreground.
4. DESCRIBE YOUR PRODUCT
Next, double tap on the video and add all the product information. Describe exactly what you’re selling.
Name: Choose the name of your product carefully as it will appear at the start of the video.
Description: Include all the product information such as dimension and sizes, material, where it’s made, the product’s story, etc! We recommend that you keep it short and simple.
Price: Choose the currency and set the price of your product (including taxes).
Shipping: Specify your shipping costs, and if you can ship outside of your home country.
Topics: Select the categories your product falls under. Choose the categories carefully so that buyers can easily discover your brand and sales channel when exploring the app.
Product Options: Does your product have different variables, such as multiple sizes? Then swipe right, and input all sizes available. Remember to update the number of each product you have in stock and how many you have available to sell.
Product Photo: Add a photo of the product showcased in your sales video. Buyers will see this picture when searching products, so make sure the image is well lit and that the product is in the foreground. The Sales team at YEAY will review your video to ensure it follows our guidelines, and will approve the video as soon as possible. When everything has been double checked and you’re ready for your video to go live, press “Submit”.
